Monitor and API are separate products
Buying Monitor Pro is not the same as subscribing to the Developer API. Each has its own access model and use case, and neither includes the other.

What is the difference between the Market Monitor and the Developer API?
The Market Monitor is the hosted TickAtlas application — you open a dashboard and use the tools directly. Developer API plans are for software that calls TickAtlas programmatically through authenticated endpoints. They are separate products and neither subscription includes the other.
What does an account add over the demo?
The demo runs three symbols (EUR/USD, XAU/USD, BTC/USD) with all 34 widgets, no signup, and saves nothing. An account unlocks the full symbol list and lets you save layouts. Both are polled rather than streamed.
What does Monitor Pro actually add?
Real-time streaming over WebSocket and priority support. Widgets are not the difference — every tier, including the demo, already has all 34 including the AI Summary widget and the Signal Board. On pay-as-you-go or the demo the monitor refreshes on a timer, so values update on a short delay rather than the instant they change; Monitor Pro, Starter, Pro and Enterprise all stream.
Is there a free tier or a trial?
No. There is no free tier and no trial. Every account starts on pay-as-you-go with $2.50 of prepaid credit — no card required. Until you top up, keys are capped at 200 requests a day at 30 per minute; topping up removes the daily cap.
How does API Pay-As-You-Go work?
You buy prepaid credit packages and each call draws down credit by the endpoint weight — most endpoints cost 1 unit, the heavier ones 2 to 5. Credits do not expire, and because the balance is prepaid it stops at zero instead of billing you for overage. The Developer Pricing page has the full weight table.
How do I pay for Monitor Pro?
Monitor Pro is $49/year, payable by card via Stripe or with 100+ cryptocurrencies via NOWPayments. Monthly billing ($4.99/mo) is not yet available.
What if I need white-label or high-volume access?
Use the Enterprise path. That is the route for large-scale API usage, white-label products, custom requirements, support expectations and commercial arrangements beyond the self-serve tiers.
